Nature morte : genre artistique qui représente des éléments inanimés organisés d'une certaine manière dans le cadre défini par l'artiste, souvent dans une intention symbolique (terme apparu au 17ème siècle). Ici, composées dans des cimetières avec la seule contrainte de ne déplacer aucun objet de la tombe dans une mise en scène due au cadrage.
Du point de vue linguistique, la phrase est intéressante en anglais en ce qu'elle exprime la mort en devenir. Still veut dire "encore" et Life "la vie, le vivant", et donc, "encore en vie" au contraire de "nature morte"

Still Life
Still Life : artistic genre that represents inanimate elements organised in a specific way defined by the artist, often in a symbolic intension (the term appeared in the 17th century). Here, they are composed in cemeteries with the only constraint of never moving any object on graves in a "mise en scène" framing.
On a linguistic viewpoint, it is interesting to notice that it can be read (in english) in two different manners : <still alive> and <frozen life>. The death of the flowers is in process which indeed they are withering away on the graves.
